Digital Currency Governance
With regulators slow to step in, governance of the new digital currencies are more and more the province of global networks of the knowledgeable.
The annual meeting in Washington D.C. this week of the International Monetary Fund, IMF, and World Bank Group brought Bitcoin into the conversation. Standard Chartered Bank group chief executive Peter Sands stated that he is unconvinced that cyber-currencies- bitcoin- will remain a niche application.
